Before installation
- Review the inverter communication and electrical specifications before installation.
- Confirm the delivery destination and any local receiving requirements.
- Use a qualified installer and follow local electrical requirements.
- Confirm that the mounting surface, clearance and cable routing suit the selected wall or floor position.
Monitoring and communication
WL5A communicates over CAN and RS485 with the inverter or system controller, and additionally lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for monitoring. Up to nine sets can be connected in one system; confirm the exact configuration with your installer before purchase.
Safety and handling
- Installation and wiring must be carried out by a qualified installer.
- Verify polarity and torque all connections before commissioning.
- Keep the battery away from water, heat sources, sparks and open flames.
- Do not open, modify or repair the battery enclosure.
- Do not connect loads or chargers outside the ratings listed above.
- Follow local electrical code for breakers, fuses and disconnects.
