1. SETTLE IN
100Ah rated capacity and a 100A continuous-discharge rating support a planned 12V auxiliary system, not engine starting. Use the runtime guide in the gallery as an estimate, then size the inverter, fusing and wiring around your actual loads.
2. FIT THE GROUP 31 BAY
The 339 × 185 × 218mm case sets the starting point for an RV auxiliary system. Confirm tray size, hold-down clearance, terminal access and cable routing before ordering; the Group 31 name does not guarantee a universal drop-in fit.
3. CHECK IT BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BAY
Use compatible Bluetooth 5.0 monitoring to review state of charge, voltage, current and battery temperature before changing loads or charging sources. Follow the product manual and app instructions for the available functions.
4. LIGHTER WORK AROUND THE BAY
At a listed 9.6kg / 21.16lb, the G31 is easier to move into service position than many comparably sized lead-acid batteries. Use the integrated carry strap for handling, then secure the case with a correctly sized tray and hold-down.
5. PROTECT THE BATTERY AND THE INSTALL
The built-in BMS covers the listed current, voltage, temperature and short-circuit protections. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, not immersion; secure the battery upright and use correctly sized fuses, cables and terminal covers.
6. PAUSE CHARGING WHEN THE CELL IS TOO COLD
Charging stops below 0°C battery temperature and resumes above 5°C. The listed operating ranges are 0–55°C for charging and -20–60°C for discharging; use the battery within the manual's environmental limits.
7. BUILD COMPATIBLE CHARGING PATHS
Plan LiFePO4-compatible CC/CV charge sources: an AC charger, solar with an MPPT controller, an alternator through a DC-to-DC charger, or a generator feeding a compatible charger. Do not connect sources directly to the battery terminals.
8. SCALE A MATCHED BATTERY BANK
Use matched batteries of the same model, capacity and state of charge. The listed architecture supports up to 4 in series or 4 in parallel, and up to 16 matched batteries in a 4P4S bank; follow the manual for balancing, protection and cabling.
